In your own words.
Nothing here is compulsory. A sentence is enough.
Tell us what you are imagining.
In your own words. A memory, a photograph you cannot forget, a colour your mother wore, the way you want to feel walking in. Write a line or write a page — whatever you give us, a designer reads it and sketches to it.
That is genuinely all we need. Everything after this is optional — send your brief now if you would rather just talk.
If you already know, tell us. If not, skip it.
Tap nothing at all and we will propose. Nothing here is required, and nothing locks you in.

Every one of these is cut to your measurements.
Made to measure, and what that actually means
All figures are body measurements in inches, not garment measurements. Our tailors add the ease. If you are between two sizes, made to measure costs the same as stitched.
- Bust Around the fullest part of the chest, tape level and flat across the back.
- Under bust Directly beneath the bust, snug.
- Waist The narrowest point, usually just above the navel.
- Hip The fullest part, about 8 in below the waist.
- Shoulder From one shoulder bone across the back to the other.
- Blouse length From the shoulder seam to where the blouse should end.
- Sleeve length From the shoulder down to where the sleeve should stop.
- Height with heels Only needed for lehenga and skirt lengths.
Take the tape over light clothing — jackets, knitwear and padded layers add inches. Keep it firm but not tight, and level all the way round. If any figure feels uncertain, send it to us and we will check it, or give us a garment that already fits you and we will work from that.
Blouse sizes are named by bust measurement. A size 36 blouse fits a 36 inch bust.

Or skip all of it and talk to a person
Fifteen minutes, a tape measure, and someone to take you through it. Choose whichever is least effort for you.
After you send it
Eight steps. A person at every one.
A stylist, a designer, and your name on the sketch before a thread is cut.
-
01
You tell us
Whatever you have — a paragraph, a photograph, one colour, or nothing but an occasion and a date. There is no form to complete and no minimum.
-
02
A stylist writes back
A named stylist from Looms of Tasmai, not an auto-reply. She will ask what she needs to ask, talk you through cloth, colour and cut, and tell you plainly what suits the occasion and what does not.
-
03
A designer draws you two sketches
Everything gathered goes to a designer, who draws by hand. You receive two: the master sketch, and a second carrying the changes discussed. We then ask you to sign one off.
-
04
You sign off — and only then does the clock start
Nothing is cut, dyed or embroidered until you have approved the drawing. Your delivery date is counted from your signature, not from the day you first wrote to us.
-
05
Your measurements are taken
Alongside production we send you our measurement guide, and our team checks every figure you return against the pattern before anything is cut. Send us a garment that already fits you well and we will work from that instead.
-
06
Quality check, then you see it
The finished piece is inspected against the sketch you approved, then photographed and sent to you for a last look before it leaves us.
-
07
It ships, and you can follow it
Tracking reaches you the moment it is handed over, and we stay with you until it is in your hands.
-
08
Yours, and nobody else's
One piece, your measurements, your colour, drawn for you and cut for no one else.
One piece. Your measurements. Your colour.
